Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have been taken by Department of Health officials during a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was interviewed by about unlawfully importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines by means of the web.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be dangerous.
"These kinds of products being sold, typically online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no assurance about their safety.
"You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not know the impact drugs like this might have on your health."
